Kozi has a strange and eclectic personality. He is kind-spirited and a hopeless "dark"-romantic. His music is his life, but he's taken a position as a literature teacher where he seems to assign books that his students have never heard of, and are too afraid to pick up after they've opened them the first time. A collective sigh of relief is heard at every juncture he assigns a text with a title his students can read. When assigning one of these few choices that don't have anything to do with the occult, he tends towards poets like Shelley and Byron, using their imagery and romantic underpinnings to write lyrics in his spare time. All of his choices in texts are meant to inspire his students to follow their various interests to inspire them to become better song writers, but he had to fight tooth and nail just to get hired as this sort of teacher and single-handedly proposed and chartered the "musical" literature course.
Kozi has a bit of a reputation at the school for being a philanderer, and once or twice has gotten in trouble with the principal. It is for this reason that he tends to get frequent observation periods, which he theorizes is his interview for his own job. During this time he suddenly assigns classical and modern music texts.
He owns his own home and lives by himself with his various pets. 1 cat (Lala), 1 turtle, 1 frog, and 3 hamsters. At home he is laid back, and though he has very few visitors he tends to be more casual here, and indulges much more in his love for music.
While his playing at the academy is infrequent, he has a reputation as a legend and students nag him incessantly to be taken on as a mentor. (Which is more than likely where he gets his reputation for having "interesting" study sessions from)
Habits: Chain smoking (even in class), peeling his black nailpolish off, referring to students by various embarrassing nicknames.
Likes: music, smoking, skeletons, cats, gundam, the yellow handkerchief of happiness, Christian Death (band), fall (the season), fast cars, Alehandro Hodoruski, etc.
Dislikes: emotional men
History: Kozi comes from the country and his parents are generally approving of his lifestyle. As a kid he was a troublemaker, stealing bikes and throwing rocks at fishermen, and he hasn't really grown out of it. He's genuinely kind-hearted and cares for his family, pets, and students with almost an equal ardour.
RP Example: Kozi parked in his usual spot, the teacher of the year place, on the way into class with a grin on his face. He got a certain kick out of parking in this prestigious spot, even though he hadn't earned the title. It was well known the wicked pleasure he got out of aggravating every faculty member that had ever been honored in this way.
Lighting a cigarette he strolled to class, looking much more like a student then any teacher had a right to. He always wore jeans, or plaid slacks, and band t-shirts. While this certainly was normal for a music teacher he had been warned time and time again that it was certainly not acceptable for a musical literature teacher. He had also been told that smoking in class or in the building was strictly prohibited, but none of these warnings ever seemed to work. And the school seemed to hope that his reputation would make up for any shortcomings he had as a teacher.
Reaching the door to his class he walked in and slammed his book on the podium, eliciting a few grins and a half a dozen jumps in chairs.
"Tak out yer damned books and open to chaper one," he instructed, his words half-muffled as he didn't remove the cigarette from his mouth.
