Inaba was tired. Tired from his jammed packed schedule and tired from flying in and out of Tokyo to LA and back again to the point where he wasn't even certain whether he had slept, whether he ate, the time of the day and even the dates anymore. That was a sure sign to him that he was sorely in need of a personal assistant. Outside school, the man had a team of Vermillion staff waiting on him, making sure that everything was running smoothly and in order, be it for a concert, a documentary, an interview or a philanthropy session, with Tak Matsumoto to see to everything else. In school, he was all alone. Granted that most likely the amount of time he spent here as a guest lecturer would add up to...say, three months? But he wanted to give the Academy his 100%, and not waste his energy on the more menial tasks. Thus the placement of that post-it on the noticeboard right smack at the entrance of the school and he was glad he already had a few responses. Well, it was time for the interview, and Inaba had picked out a choice lounging room for it to take place. The handsome male sat by a sofa, fiddling with a pencil as he stared at his schedules for the upcoming month. He had to host two lectures addressing the school's teachers and counsellors, one lecture only for the teaching faculty in beginning April, and finally an auditorium speech. It was all heavy stuff.

Akiya had arrived ten minutes early. This will be the second interview that he was going to. He needed a job desperately, so as many interviews he went he was sure that there would be a position available for him somewhere. He was dressed smartly, or at least, wearing clothes that looked presentable and comfortable. He was really going to need to buy a suit for this type of occasions. "Excuse me," he said before entering. He wasn't nervous about speaking with people anymore, probably due to the fact that he had made friends and already had dealt with one interview before this. "My name is Kazuhiro Akiya," he said while bowing in greeting to the teacher.

Inaba wasn't just a teacher. He was a teacher's teacher. A professor almost, with his qualifications and current status in the music industry. That was the exact reason why he sorely needed a PA within the school campus as well. The man didn't respond immediately, having being lost in his own thoughts for a while now with that pencil tap-tapping at the side of his temples.
It was only a pause after the student's soft greeting that he noticed he wasn't alone in the lounge room anymore. Inaba looked up with a slight startled expression, then realised who this student was and why the teen was here.
"Have a seat."
He offered kindly but a little distractedly, with half of his mind still devoted to the large amounts of papers that were strewn around the table. Already.
Inaba changed his sitting position, from the relaxed rest against the sofa to a lean-forward with both elbows resting on his knees, elegant digits clasped together on his lap and it was in this fashion that he looked at Akiya.
"Good afternoon, Kazuhiro."
He greeted in return. Such a gentle, melodious voice. It was no wonder millions of Japanese girls fell for this man, yet his quiet and unassuming mannerisms were such a curious contradiction. Instead of the self-centered, diva-like superstar attitude, Inaba exuded the airs of a well-bred but fatigued gentleman. His marbled orbs caught Akiya's, soft and gentle and so reflective, gems in disguise and they seem to have experienced far too much in life that he shouldn't...and wasn't meant to go through.
"Do you have any experience in assisting a director?"
He asked softly. Looks like Akiya was going to have quite a handful.

Akiya sat straight and seemed a little nervous about the way Koshi seemed to be able to read into him. He took a deep breath to calm this nervous feeling.
"Well, not a director per say, but I did help out a sergeant in charge of the cabin when I was in military school," Akiya said nervously. He had hated those days in the military school, only when he was helping out the sergeant that he felt somewhat calm about his place, and that's when the upperclassmen had stopped hazing him.
To be honest, he wasn't sure if he was still a virgin with all of the stuff that had happened to him in that school. For the millionth time, he was glad that he had gotten kicked out.

"Military school?"
That was interesting.
"How long did you spend in there?"
Inaba started pinching the bridge of his nose some, feeling a headache slowly coming in.
"Could you describe yourself for me, please, my dear? Your good points, your flaws, your hobbies and your habits."
He stopped here for a moment to wait for the sudden headache to subside. Then those marbled orbs flared open again to capture Akiya's pretty ones, holding onto them steadily and almost piercingly, as if he could see through the student just like that.
"Being a personal assistant is not easy, but everyone has to start from somewhere. I'll give you some help at the start but you would have to pick up pretty fast because the work-load would just snowball. I would require you to manage my schedules when I'm in the school as well as picking up my document trail, record speeches and assist my presentations to the entire school."
"Understand that when you're my personal assistant, you are a physical extension of me. You will have a responsibility and a name to uphold as well as all the circumstances that comes with it."
Then Inaba's melodious voice softened, reaching out to place a hand on Akiya's wrist.
"But don't worry. In the learning process, everyone makes mistakes. It's okay to make mistakes but learn from them and make sure they won't happen again. My position in this school is special, so the scheduling is rather complicated. Also....I might require you to accompany me at odd hours. Debriefings, reshuffling of meetings...all these are very common and thus I need you to be on your toes. Will you be able to handle this, Akiya?"

"I spent my first and part of my second years there," Akiya said, taking a deep breath. Remembering those days were a bit painful to him. His father had sent him there against his will and everyday he had been beaten.
"Are you alright, sir?" He looked at the other man with a worried expression. He took out some painkillers from his pocket and handed them to him. "You look like you have a headache," he gave him a soft smile.
"I'm responsible, I'm always prepared, and I don't like leaving things to the last minute. I usually like to practice my guitar and I like to read a lot of books. I'm usually in bed by 10, but I can reschedule every aspect of my life to take care of what you will need." Akiya said quietly, "Uh... I do have some trouble speaking to other people at first, but I can quickly get over it. I'm also a quick learner."
Akiya then nodded in understanding when he was described what the job would consist of. He was positive that he could handle the huge workload. "I'm sure I could handle it, I'm sure it's going to be difficult at first, but once I get used to it I will be able to handle the workload."

Inaba readily declined the aspirin.
"It will pass."
He disliked the feeling of being groggy, as well as the idea of dulling pain. Pain exists simply because your body needed to feel it.
"Can you tell me more about yourself? As much as possible because this is necessary should I be seeing more and more of you in the future. Your time will be well-compensated."

Akiya took the bottle back and put it back in his pocket. "I'm a disowned child, so I've been fending off for myself since I got kicked out of school, my mother has been helping me out behind his back. To be honest, I'm a straight C student, but I'm sure that it could go up if I try. I've been trying to look for a job for a while, and I know that I can do the well in the position. I'm not really sure, what else I should tell you about me," Akiya said giving him a small smile.
