Kai was practically sprinting along the corridor dragging the other two behind him, all that was on his mind now was getting to bash on those drums. He had a huge smile on his face and his eyes were sparkling.
When he got to the room they usually used he yanked the door open and flicked the light on.

Akiya could only laugh as Kai dragged him and Uruha to the practice room. The young drummer was very excited about getting to play with his drums, and that made Akiya smile. He could see this band was going in the right direction if they played because they wanted to, needed to, craved to play.
"Where does he get his energy from?" Akiya asked jokingly to his companion on being dragged.

At the back of the room was Ka's drum kit, still set up from the last time he practice. As he made his way over to the kit his was practically drooling.
When he reached the drum kit he placed his hand on the snare drum gently and let out a long sigh.
"I missed you." Kai's drum kit was like his child, he took care of it and made sure it was always set up perfectly, just the way he liked it. He took his seat and stared at the kit, his eyes still sparkling.

Akiya looked at Kai with a look of understanding. He was sure that if he had to spend his time away from his guitars he would probably have the same reaction as Kai. It was as if the instruments were a part of you, and almost like your own child too.
"I can't wait to see you play," Akiya said from his place on the other side of the practice room.

Kai smiled at the other boy.
"I'll start in a minute I just have to adjust a few things." Soon after he spoke he got to work on re arranging his kit a little. He missed this, he hadn't been able to practice for a while because of projects and what not. He needed to do this he felt like he had been neglecting his drums.
"Plus, I can't have Reita getting bigger muscles than me now can I." He grinned. Reita and Kai were the muscly ones of the group, though it was pretty obvious that Reita was much manlier than Kai.

Kai sat down again and with three taps of his sticks he was off.
Picking up a steady rhythm quickly he continued to drum without missing a single beat. He missed this he missed being hidden behind his drum kit and making loads of noise. The grin on his face never once seemed to dissappear while he was drumming. He was so focused on his drums that he no longer cared about anything else around him.
