Kozi had prepared another lecture and was hoping to dear god he wasn’t going to get stuck with more administrative work, since nobody ever seemed to show up to class...He was just going to have to fail the lot of them...it would serve the little bastards right. At least such was his surmise.
He got out his outline and set up his book, brought down the projector screen and prepared the dvd for the piece of video he wanted to use. Then started to twiddle his thumbs, staring at the clock for some minutes before getting a craving. That little itch that always seemed to get him.
Pulling out his pack of cigarettes he lit one and looked up again, he took a long drag off the cigarette.
At least while he was in here, administration couldn’t do anything about him smoking in class. When he was in the office they’d yell at him if he even thought about it.
Kozi looked out the window for a moment, listening for any sign of life in the hallway. Then, the soft sound of a sandaled foot hit the hallway and he turned to see a student coming into the room. The cigarette nearly fell out of his mouth in surprise.
“Ohayo....”

Akiya was going to be late again, he had that feeling creeping in his mind as he ran to class. He had told himself that he would never be late to class again, and there he was running late (OK, maybe he did have a couple of minutes to spare, but he had completely forgotten that he had set his watch to be five minutes ahead so that it would scare him, which worked today), he hadn't bothered to brush his hair because he found it a waste of precious time, his uniform was somewhat presentable with his button shirt half buttoned up and his overcoat open.
When he reached the door of the classroom he let out a sigh of relief when he found that no one else was in the classroom yet. He then saw the expression of Kozi-sensei and nodded at his greeting.
"Ohayo-gozaimasu," he said politely while walking to take a seat in the front row.

Kai came running down the corridor, uniform a complete mess hair sticking up everywhere and his bag that was still open. As he burst into the class room he tried his hardest trying not to collapse on the spot.
"Ohayo Kozi-Sensei." He took a seat by Akiya not even really noticing it was him until moments late.
"Akiya!"

Suddenly Kozi’s face shifted into that signature grin. He watched the two young men sit down with interest. So, these poor saps signed up for his class. The grin widened.
But, then he looked at his lesson book and over at the computer. Walking over, he shut the computer off, and closed the book for now.
“Hrn...is anyone else coming..?” he looked inquisitively at the two young men.
“Well, it’s not really a problem....I wanted to ask you...what do you like to read? What inspires you...? It can be anything...even manga,” he smiled. Manga influenced him quite a bit sometimes. Though he tended towards the novels off of game series’ or the longer vampire series’.
Really though, this was practically a breakthrough for Kozi. He hadn’t scared everyone away with his first question.
“This is musical literature section after all, so there must be something if you signed up...?”

Kai grinned...manga...manga....
"Manga!!! All differnt kinds, i like stuff based off games though , but I also like reading a lot of horror fantasy stuff." He grinned some of his favourite books were in the category of horror fantasy. A lot of Dark stuff or heavier stuff with more emotion. Reading another one of Kai's hobbied when he wasn't busy bashing on his drums.

Akiya noticed Kai come in and sit next to him. The other boy looked as bad as he did, he guessed the two of them must have overslept. He turned his attention to Kozi-sensei, and the question about books just made him almost leap with joy. He enjoyed books as much as he enjoyed composing, and the truth was that he did get most of his inspiration from books. Most of the time he found himself composing music that in his brain, would fill the background of the scene that he was reading.
Akiya raised his hand and answered, "I like to read war stories, and some romance, but most of the time I just read about the everyday life of villagers and traditional Japanese stories." Yep, the traditional stories were what he drew most of his inspirations from. "Although sometimes I don't even need a book to get inspired," he added.
