Project! [Closed]

[Akiya]

Akiya chuckled at how enthusiastic Kai was about hearing him play the guitar. He smiled softly as Kai wiped a tear that had miraculously found its way out. He loved Sugizo so much, OK, maybe he didn't love him as more like he had pure admiration for the older man.

"Well, since the song is over, want me to bring over my guitar so that I can play for you?" Akiya asked a little bit amused. The idea of watching Sugizo's movie with a group of friends cheered him up greatly.

Kais eyes soon started to sparkle and it looked as if he had turned into a little puppy.

"Really? You'll play for me now?" He was knelt infront of Akiya with his hands on Akiya's kness, it was as if you could see his imaginary tail wagging.

"Really? Really?" Kai only ever got to hear Aoi and Uruha on guitar so it would be nice to hear Akiya and see how there styles were different.

[Akiya]

Akiya just chuckled and nodded, petting Kai's head gently. It was sort of weird to see someone get so excited over him playing the guitar, but then again, he figured Kai would be the only one who could pull it off because instead of it being weird, it was adorable and cute and it made Akiya want to hug the drummer.

"Sure, I just need to go get my guitar," he chuckled, "but first I need to get up, so..." he motioned to Kai's hands on his knees and how close he was kneeling in front of him.

Kai smiled as his head was pet, he giglled a little before he heard what Akiya said and turned bright red. He quickly removed his hands from Akiya's knees and backed away. He really needed to learn to try and not get so over excited.

"Sorry..." He was still bright red and was failing at trying to hide it.

[Akiya]

Akiya chuckled and petted the drummer once again, he really reminded Akiya of a cute puppy. He stood up and smiled down at the other one, "it's OK, it's fine for you to just be yourself, I don't mind," he chuckled again and went to the door.

"I'll be right back," he said before exiting the room and going into his own. He picked up his black guitar and his acoustic guitar and started his way back to Kai's room.



He had to admit he was a little nervous, but at least he would have some practice before he needed to go audition for the job he had applied for. He entered Kai's room and placed his black guitar on Kai's bed. Hmm... This was going to be hard to do if he doesn't have the stand so that he can hold his black guitar while playing with his acoustic guitar. "Here, hold this for me?" He gave Kai his acoustic and went back into his room to bring in the stand that he would need to hold his acoustic while the black one was strapped around him.

"Thanks," he said before taking the acoustic and placing it on the stand, he then grabbed his black one and strapped it over his shoulders.

He took a deep breath, and started playing something that he had been composing for a while now.



Of course, the lyrics to this song, were unknown to him, but he could imagine how the bass, the drums, a second guitar, and even the Koto could be added into the melody he had composed to make it a wonderful and soothing song. It was different from what his idol, Sugizo, did, but it was something that was Akiya, and that would some day be part of the band he formed with others.

Akiya closed his eyes as he played, switching to the black guitar when he needed to, and going back to the acoustic all without hesitation and without a mistake.

Kai grinned at the older male before watching him walk out of the room. When the male came back he followed him with his eyes. He held the guitar carefully when asked to, he was pretty sure if he ever tried to hold Uruha or Aoi's guitar he would be murdered on the spot.

Kai stared at the guitarist in amazement, this was different from what he was use to hearing but he was really enjoying it. He could tell Akiya obviously put a lot of time into practice and it made him admire the guitarist more. It was as if just putting a guitar in Akiya's hand had given him a huge confidence boost. He listened intently and his eyes followed the guitarists hands.

[Akiya]

Akiya was definitely another person when he played the guitar. It's as if all of his worries, troubles, and anything negative left his mind and there was nothing but peace and the melody of his music inside of him. It was definitely the most confident Akiya could get. His nervousness had been replaced with calmness and joy. He was enjoying this, even though it was the first time he played in front of people--OK no, scratch that, he had played in front of his first love three years ago, but that had been against his will, today he was playing willingly and because he just wanted to try playing in front of someone. It would serve as practice.

As the music slowly came to an end in his mind, and he slowly stopped playing the last note he opened his eyes, which had somehow happened to have fallen shut while he was playing. He smiled down at the young drummer, and for a moment, he didn't know what to do. He was still partially in his own little world of peace and serenity.

"So... What do you think?" Akiya asked once he was able to register that he was done and set his black guitar down on the bed.

Kai continued to listen intently until Akiya finished playing, then all he could do was stare at the man infront of him. He continued to stare in fasination before blushing slightly and snapping out of whatever transe he had been caught in.

"That was, amazing!" Kai practically yelled while throwing his arms up in the air. He had really enjoyed being able to hear Akiya play.

[Akiya]

Akiya blushed slightly. He was glad that Kai had enjoyed his own mini-private concert. He sat back down next to the other one and picked up his notebook again. He cleared his throat trying to get over the fact that he was slightly embarrassed and pleased.

"Anyway... Uh, about the project," he felt too lazy to take his precious guitars back to his room, so he just let them were they were, of course, making sure that they were not in the way of anyone who wanted to go out or come in. He was itching to play some more, but school work was more important right now.

Kai smiled.

"Let's hurry up and get the project done so you can play guitar more, ne? Maybe sometime I'll play the drums for you, though to be honest it just probably sounds like a load of loud noise without any other instruments." He liked playing the drums it was his escape, with someone with as much energy as him he needed something where he could put that energy to good use.

[Akiya]

Akiya chuckled and nodded, "Alright, I would like to see you play the drums, you seem like the type who would put your heart and soul into them, so no matter if it comes out like a lot of noise, I'm pretty sure you could put a melody into it," he grabbed his laptop and started searching some information about Sugizo, not that he needed it since he was a Sugizo fanboy and knew everything there was to know about him, but having the resources would be nice.

"Just make sure that when you do end up having concerts and tours, to have a bucket of ice ready when you're done," he chuckled while keeping his eyes on the computer, "and make sure to take proper care of your body, you don't want to have back and arm problems like Yoshiki-san." Now Akiya was sounding like a mother hen, isn't that a funny sight?

Kai smiled not many people really payed attention when he was playing drums because usually he had the band wirh him and people were more focused on the vocalist and guitarist's while he just his behind his drum kit at the back of a stage.

"Yes mummy!" Kai giggled, having Akiya telling him about all this health stuff.

"I already have buckets of ice ready after long practice sessions. I also tend to wear gloves when i drum so its not so tough on my hands." He nodded matter of factly rather proud of himself for taking care of his body. He liked drumming to much and wasn't in a rush to give it up anytime soon.

[Akiya]

Akiya looked up at the boy and petted him. "Good," he said and smiled at him. Akiya stretched, this project was sure a pain in the ass, even if he was discussing about his favorite artist. The only thing Akiya could think of right now though, was of playing the guitar. He looked at the time and wondered if Kai's roommate was going to come at all today, he sort of wanted to meet the guy, since all he knew was that he was a guitarist and Kai's best friend.

Akiya concentrated on his work and continued to write information down, along with the link of the place he got the information from, he made sure that they were reliable resources (mostly Jrock magazines like Cure and Shoxx), and he only made sure to rely on interviews, since the answers came from Sugizo himself.

"How much information do you think we need?" Akiya asked while raising his gaze from the computer to the young drummer.

"Mou!! Uruha-kun never comes back to the dorm he's to busy with Aoi!' He pouted a little the guitarists were constantly glued to each other so it was hard for him to ever spend time with Uruha other than in class.

"A bit, but I'm sure we can pull off most of the essay with the song, as long as we talk about it a lot we should be fine." He caught the other boy glancing at his own guitar a few times and smiled.

"Go ahead, we have a while to work on the project so it's fine if you want to play guitar."

[Akiya]

Akiya looked at the other and blushed, he can't believe he was that obvious that he wanted to play more. "No... it's ok," he said, he wanted to get this project over and done with so that he could relax the rest of the time and only worry about practicing and the audition.

"How about we just take a short break?" Akiya asked hesitantly, he really had an urge to play his guitar, it was killing him.
