Project! [Closed]

[kai]

Kai sat in his room with his notebook in front of him, he was currently waiting for Akiya to show up so they could start work on their project. He was going to be busy on the weekend so he wanted to work on it while he still had the chance. He had gone over a few musicians he found inspirational but no one seemed to stand out.

[Akiya]

Akiya came out from his room and walked to Kai's room and knocked on the door lightly. He really just wanted to get this project over and done with because he had to practice with his guitar. He was dressed casually, with just a pair of sweat pants and a sweatshirt. He carried his notebook with him and his computer so that he could look up information once they decided which artist they would be researching.

Akiya also wondered what Kai had to ask him, he had to admit that he was curious and he smiled at remembering how excited he had seemed.

"Kai-kun, it's me," he said after the knock on the door.

Kai leaned back against his bed, wearing sweatpants and a plain black t-shirt. He stretched his legs out and stretched his arms over his head before he heard a knock at the door. He hear Akiya's voice and smiled.

"Its open!" Kai was glad he was such a neat freak, his room was very tidy and presentable yet he decided to sit on the floor.

[Akiya]

Akiya opened the door and went into the room before closing it after himself. He then took a seat next to Kai and looked at him with his usual smile.

"So~ shall we start?" He asked, noticing how Kai's roommate wasn't present this time either. Akiya was ready to start working and start discussing some musicians for their project.

[kai]

Kai smiled back and nodded.

"Do you have an idea of who you want to do the project on? I don't really mind." Kai wasn't fussed about who he did the project on so long as he actually got it done. If he had any choice all of his projects would be performances but sadly that wasn't how things happened around here.

[Akiya]

Akiya looked at him and then thought for a moment, "Anyone in X Japan would be awesome, or we could work on Sugizo," Sugizo, now Sugizo was like Akiya's idol. He loved the man even though he had never met him. The way he played his guitar, and more importantly the way he played the violin just turned Akiya into goo.

To Akiya, Sugizo was like coffee.

He tried not to go too much into his own little world and looked at the other, "By the way, what did you want to ask me?" he asked curiously.

"Pick anyone I really dont mind. Though i noticed your eyes seemed to sparkle a little when you mentione Sugizo" Kai giggled as he saw the other others eyes light up.

"Oh yeah! That boy you sat behind in class, Is he a friend?" Kai was curious about the boy he had noticed Akiya talking to.

[Akiya]

Akiya chuckled and blushed slightly, "Was it obvious? And yeah, he's a friend," Akiya said as he answered the other boy's question. "Why?" He asked. Sure, maybe Kai had been curious as to who Akiya had been talking to earlier in class today, but maybe there was also a reason behind his inquiry.

"So, for this project we just have to research the artist and choose a song?" Akiya asked to make sure they were getting the point of the assignment. The question was, what exactly did they have to find out?

[kai]

"Thats good. No reason I was just glad that Akiya-Senpai had made another friend. I only really talk to my band and you, so it's nice to know your getting along well with other people." He smiled at the older boy. He new that Akiya was quiet and was starting to worry about how he was going to get along with the other members of the school.

"Yeah and we have to talk about the song a bit aswell." He nodded remebering what Kreva had said.

[Akiya]

Akiya chuckled and ruffled the other boy's hair. He appreciated the fact that he had been worrying about him, some people rarely did nowadays. He turned to his notebook then and wrote down what the other have said about having to talk about the song.

"Are you sure there are no musicians that you would like to research about? You don't have to do Sugizo if you don't want to," Akiya said not wanting to take this opportunity solely for himself.

Kai smilled as the other boy ruffled his hair. It made him feel like a child, though he really didn't mind it.

"Sugizo is fine. I really had no idea who to do the project on so I'm glad you thought of someone." He kept his dorky grin on his face, to be honest he was glad he had Akiya as his partner, he would probably be completely lost on the project without him.

[Akiya]

Akiya chuckled and nodded. "Alright, how should we split up the tasks?" He asked while bringing his laptop to, well, his lap, and turning it on to start working on the assignment, if they were lucky, they might get most of it done by today and have to meet another day to just make sure they had the correct information and figure out who would discuss what in the presentation. He wondered if Daichi had gotten a partner for this assignment, it would probably be the guy who sat next to him in class since he doubted Aki would contribute anything to the project, or bother with doing any of it at all.

Now that Akiya thought about it, Aki sort of reminded Akiya of his first love, except a little more of a bully than a tease. Oh well, he didn't know the guy very well, so he wouldn't be able to tell for sure. "We're also going to have to decide on what song of Sugizo's to choose from, but we can do that after we have gained some information," he said to the other, coming back from his thoughts from his friend and of his first love.

[kai]

"Well we should have some background info and talk about Luna sea obviously and his solo projects and what not." He watched as the boy beside him seemed to be thinking about something a lot, Kai seemed to pick up on things way to much.

"You can decide on the song." He grinned at the other boy, considering the project was about someone Akiya obviously respected a lot he was willing to let the boy make the major decisions.

"Ne Akiya, play guitar for me sometime, yeah?" He really wanted to hear Akiya play, he constantly heard Aoi and Uruha playing so it would be a nice change to hear someone else play.

[Akiya]

"Did you know, Sugizo used to be very good friends with hide?" Akiya asked as he quickly logged into his computer and went into the Internet to look up a song of Sugizo's that he liked.

As for playing the guitar for Kai, he was the second person to ask him that, so he chuckled and nodded, "Sure, no problem, maybe after I show you this video and we get some info written down, although, I must warn you, I don't play exactly rock," he chuckled and seemed to find the video he was just looking for.

"Here, watch this."



Akiya closed his eyes as the music played, it always moved him to tears and he didn't know exactly why, there was just something about Sugizo's music that touched him and moved him inside.

He slowly opened his eyes as the music came to an end and looked at the other boy, "I think this is part of the movie that he made, I haven't been able to watch it though, so I might have spoiled some of it to both of us," he chuckled.

"Un." He smiled at the other boy.

"Yay!! I get to listen to Akiya play guitar!!" Now he had a huge grin on his face.

As the music was playing he caught site of a tear that rolled down Akiya's face, he quickly wiped it away gently with his thumb and smiled softly at the boy and continued to listen.

"It's fine, maybe we can watch it together sometime, a group of us!" He nodded enthusiastically.
