Name: Shiroyama Yuu
Nick Name: Aoi
Age: 28
Original Band: the Gazette
Instrument: Rhythm guitar
Year: Fifth Year
Image:
Personality: Aoi can be entirely goofy, or entirely serious all depending on the situation. Though he tends to be deeply contemplative and shy he is, regardless, quite outgoing if given the chance. It’s in front of the cameras that he freezes up a little bit. Solo interviews are not really his thing. But, in a group environment he thrives off of the other’s energy. He has a tendency towards being a little bit moody though, flying off the handle at little things.
Habits: Wearing designer clothing, smoking, fidgeting with random things. (Jewellry, clothing, etc)
Likes: BVLGARI, Vivienne Westwood, Dolce & Gabbana, SUPER DRY, coffee, Marlboro Menthol cigarettes
Dislikes: People who are angered easily. (Somewhat ironic isn’t it?)
History: Aoi is the oldest member of the band The Gazette. While fairly close-mouthed, he seems to get along with everyone well enough. But, he is the closest to Uruha, the other guitarist. Of course, there are professional reasons to be so close to him, but Aoi also finds him fairly attractive. Which he hasn’t told him, but is, apparently, obvious to the rest of the band.
Aoi grew up in Mie, started a few bands earlier on, and then eventually joined Gazette, which is gaining a little bit of headway now. He started going to Ageha five years ago, when one of his early bands broke up and he needed some direction. The school has given him a lot of confidence, and his shyness has at least faded to a degree where he can post to online blogs and speak on camera without any serious mental trauma, like before.
His guitar playing has also improved, and he enjoys composing things in the practice rooms at off hours of the day. In fact, he seems to be rarely in his dorm room, often sleeping in the small rooms.
RP Example: Aoi sat strumming at his acoustic, looking thoughtful as his black fingernail polish chipped against the steel strings while he played. He was thinking about something, what it wasn’t clear.
Without warning he started to pluck out a perfect solo piece, his fingers moving skillfully.
After he’d finished he wrote this down, lighting a cigarette and leaning over his guitar again. The menthol seemed to calm his teeming thoughts and he started again, working on the solo further, improving parts and adding a little piece at the end.
