Uruha shrugged casually, fanning himself with his hand and tossing his long hair back over his shoulders; they were starting to get stuck on his cheeks and neck as he started sweating. "Naaah, I'd rather sleep. If you think about it, the next class ain't that important at all." He sighed as he finally decided to take off his thin jacket, only wearing a black singlet that emphasized the paleness of his skin.
With one can of beer drained and empty, he reached into his bag for another, the coolness helping him out a little under the blinding sun. "I'm guessing you do this often, huh? Skipping classes I mean." The vocalist seemed to be used to this, his whole attitude to the teacher just now shouting that out clearly and boldly. "Why though? Boring for you? I mean, music composition can't be that bad..."

"Sometimes." He answered, shielding his eyes with his hand.
There were times when he purposely skipped class. Those were the times he was in a foul mood and knew that if he went, he would only get himself into trouble. He wasn't a pleasant person when upset and he tended to snap at everybody. Uruha was lucky that he attempted to be pleasant and that in his attempt, he calmed down.
Then, there were times it happened on accident. He would get caught up in lyrics, in the art he drew and just let time slip on by. He wouldn't notice it either until something distracted him from what he was doing like the shrill ring of the bell or his phone. Even then, he sometimes ignored it and it was only when he was tired or his stomach protest its empty state did he stop working on whatever it was he was doing at the time.
"But, isn't sleeping just as bad as skipping?" He asked, turning towards the other blond and lips curling up in a faint smile. "You're still missing what's being taught even if you're there." That's why Ruki liked skipping better than sleeping in class.
At least while he was skipping he was getting things done. If he just slept in class the only thing he got done was catching up on his beauty sleep.

Uruha paused, leaning back and thinking about what Ruki had just said. "... I guess you're right!" He laughed, scratching his neck awkwardly. "Well... I'm just the kind of person that can't live without sleep." He nodded, deciding on that. "I can catch up, no prob~ I don't see skipping as bad though. You're still doing something that's worth doing." He pointed towards Ruki's bag where the lyrics were.
He knew what it was to skip by accident, sometimes Uruha would be so caught up in playing and writing melodies with his guitar that he would even forget to get something to eat. Although, that was only when he had something to vent about. Hence the reason why most of his compositions were heavy, thrashing, and violent.
"I wonder if I'll be able to form a band while I'm here..." Uruha had tried countless times before he came to this academy, but those bands failed and disbanded rather quickly. He was sure he wasn't the only one, making a band and managing to keep it permanent for a while was hard work. Not to mention he still had to work part-time. Barely anyone had the time to actually get activities going on.

While it might be worth doing, the teachers and staff didn't see it that way. Skipping and sleeping in class were both frowned upon (not that Ruki really cared) and detention was usually given when a student was caught do either. So far, he had been lucky enough to avoid that rather nasty place. Never would he go to detention, never.
"The best bands -in my opinion- start out as friends first." That way, there was a base and each member knew the other's quirks. "It's less awkward and more natural and, playing with friends is fun." While music was something he was serious about doing, there was no reason to do it without fun, without passion.
Of course, not all bands started that way and some were formed with nothing but perfect strangers. They did have one thing in common though: passion. Without that passion, that drive, the band fell apart and that's what Ruki didn't want.
He wanted to join a band that was serious about music, that had the passion and drive but, didn't allow what they love to become simply business. He couldn't be in a band, let alone the music field, if it all became about business.
"I'm sure though," He added with a soft smile. "You'll find a band here." Wither it would last or not was to be seen.

(So sorry for the totally late reply, I'm really busy lately. By the way, I'll be leaving for America tomorrow, and I won't be back until two weeks later. No internet there... I'll try to get some though.)
Uruha stared at the shorter for a while before turning his head back up towards the sky, a wide smile across his face. "Yeah huh... you're completely right on that." Friendship was one of the most important things in making a band, along with passion. There was a bond needed to form a great band, whether it meant going out with your bandmates to eat, drink, play, or work together, it was still the most essential.
Speaking of drinking, eating, and playing. Uruha looked down at the empty cans of beer that sat beside him, the tin glinting in the harsh sunlight. "How bout we find a better place than here... wanna get some food?" Grinning at Ruki, he collected the cans and walked over to the trashcan, throwing them in before returning and bending down to grab his bag.

Of course he was right. Ruki was always right and never, ever wrong and even when he was wrong he was still right because he was just that awesome. There were times when he knew he was wrong, dead wrong and it was those times that he would say sorry, that he was wrong. It just didn't happen right away, in fact it happened days latter.
Humming softly, he glanced over at the taller and sat up, picking at his tang top that stuck to him from the heat. "That sounds nice. Anywhere in mind?" He didn't care what it was or where it was. So long as he was out of this heat he would be fine.
